Cos’è ALWAYS NEVER AGAIN ?

L’ispirazione nasce dal titolo di un album dei SuperSystem, disco rivoluzionario tra post/punk e la dance/nu-rave, troppo pop per essere apprezzato dalle masse isteriche dei talebani dell indie, troppo poco pop per orecchie distratte e disattente, finì per non piacere a nessuno… o quasi.
Il disco in questione ai giorni nostri è probabilmente il disco più influente della nuova scena indie, una pietra miliare del genere.
Fatto sta che la storia vuole che il gruppo finì di suonare e accantonò definitivamente i sogni di gloria dopo meno di due anni.
Always Never Again per noi è l’esempio. Always Never Again è la produzione della gente autodeterminata di Calabria. E’ collante sociale tra chi non si nega i piaceri della musica di frontiera e chi invece non ne è apparentemente attratto, propone nuovi “tesori” musicali, è la casa degli amanti della musica altra e di chi cerca qualcosa di diverso e stravagante. E’ chic e snob il giusto, ma decisamente troppo freak per essere alla moda.
ALWAYS NEVER AGAIN è veramente una questione romantica.

Always Never Again è un’idea di Fabio Nirta (già Partyzan) e di un manipolo di amici sognatori che da 20 anni si sbatte (si può dire si sbatte?) per promuovere la musica indipendente in Italia.
